The new contract will see Made Tech support the Government Digital Service (GDS), following the Machinery of Government change in 2025, to support GDS in DSIT to become the new centre for digital, technology, AI and cyber security in government. The work will focus on coordinating complex multi-supplier delivery, strengthening cyber security capability, and delivering critical digital transformation across government, including underpinning services that support GOV.UK, Digital Identity and GOV.UK PAY.
Enabling better collaboration and improved security
As a strategic partner, Made Tech will provide capacity and expertise to support user migration, system decommissioning, security delivery, and tooling management. A core element of the contract will be to design and implement an enhanced Security Operations Centre (SOC), complemented by a security uplift for existing cloud services.
