Though we’re not actively recruiting for these roles at the moment, we’d love to keep in touch with you for the future. Once you apply, we’ll be in touch about the hiring process at Made Tech, and we’ll reach out for an introductory call when we are hiring again. We look for all levels from Associate to Lead.

If you need this job description in another format, or other support in applying, please email talent@madetech.com.

Our mission is simple! We believe we can use tech to make public services better. We also believe this can happen best when our own team represents the society that actually uses the services we work on. We’re collectively continuing to grow a culture that is happy, healthy, safe and inspiring for people of all backgrounds and experiences, so we encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply for roles with us.

Being a BA at Made Tech:

You’ll engage clients in a consultative yet peer-to-peer way using agile processes. You’ll use your super-detective skills to investigate business priorities, operational needs and problems. Using your analytical brain, you’ll spot opportunities to improve processes and capabilities. You’ll work with a range of great people from different backgrounds within your deliveries.

You might use Lean UX, Scrum, XP or Kanban, but you’ll have the breadth of agile knowledge and experience to know which one fits the project you’re working on.

Being part of our community of practice means you’ll regularly showcase your knowledge to the rest of the team. You may write a blog post or attend an event – it all helps shape and improve business analysis at Made Tech! You’ll coach and mentor new members of the team whether formally, or catching up over coffee.

In the application process the following skills will be assessed but if you don’t have everything on this list, please still apply

  • Knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
  • Working directly with clients, organisations and users using agile processes (Lean UX, Scrum, XP, and/or Kanban)
  • Able to investigate operational needs and problems
  • Able to identify service and process improvement opportunities
  • Requirements definition
  • Engaging with users and collaborators
  • Working within multidisciplinary teams with product, design, and technology working within the same cycles
  • Understanding of enterprise and business architecture
  • Experienced working with Government Digital Service
